1. Mow the Right Way
Don’t cut the grass too short—keeping it a little taller actually helps shade the soil, which stops it from drying out too fast. Sharpen your mower blades so the grass tips aren’t torn, because ragged cuts turn brown quicker.
2. Water Deep, Not Often
A quick splash every day doesn’t do much. Instead, water deeply once or twice a week so the roots grow down further. Early mornings are best, so the water soaks in before the sun can steal it.
3. Feed It Seasonally
